Croydon has VAST free to air digital satellite television and two radio stations, ABC and KIKFM 88.0. Radio transmission can be difficult to receive during the middle of the day and depends on location. Radio 4KZ has installed a Southern Gulf Repeater station and broadcasts to Karumba and Normanton giving better radio reception to these areas. Rebel FM broadcasts through Karumba, Normanton and the North Western area. Mobile Phone Coverage Reception is basically in major towns on the Telstra network. Normanton also has Optus coverage.
