Cutta Cutta Caves Nature Park is via the Stuart Highway 30 km south of Katherine. Bushwalk or tour spectacular karst formations and complex cave networks. Daily guided tours are generally on the hour. Edith Falls, off the Stuart highway 46km north of Katherine, has walks and picturesque swimming holes for a day or camping. Flora River Nature Park is 122km south west of Katherine on the Victoria Highway. Enjoy canoeing, fishing and boating (no swimming – saltwater crocs!) in a really scenic park. The Douglas Daly area has swimming spots, gorges, fishing on the mighty Daly River and great camping spots. Katherine is a restocking point for many Kakadu and Arnhem Land travellers. Heading west on the Victoria Hwy to The Kimberley, magical scenery includes grand escarpments on the Victoria River and more National Parks for remote bushwalking, fishing and camping.
